Altis Professional Recruitment is actively looking to hire an experienced
IT Auditor for our Government Agency client located in Toronto.<br>
<br>
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of IT auditing experience, including
demonstrated experience with conducting assurance audits and testing the IT
General Controls (infrastructure, applications and data, systems
development life cycle controls, Change Management controls, IT Operational
controls and Data Centre physical access controls).<br>
<br>
Role and Responsibilities
* Testing IT General Controls (infrastructure, applications and data,
systems development life cycle controls, Change Management controls, IT
Operational controls and Data Centre physical access controls).
* Assess the adoption of formal risk processes, methodologies and toolsets
and provide risk advice and guidance.
* Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders as they look to
make process changes or remediate controls.
* Develop and update documentation including flow charts, narratives and
risk and control matrices.
* Manage and drive the creation of mitigation plans and coordinate the
year-end IT audit with external auditors.
Qualifications and Experience
* A minimum of 2 years experience auditing IT General Controls, including
controls over infrastructure, applications and data, systems development
life cycle controls, Change Management controls, IT Operational controls
and Data Centre physical access controls.
* Knowledge of application security roles is important, and experience
testing interfaces between key systems is required.
* CISA certification would be considered an asset and it is mandatory to
have a completed undergraduate degree.
* Good communication and documentation skills are required.
