Mandatory:

Experienced Oracle Financials Consultant with in-depth knowledge of
General Ledger (GL), Web ADI and Web Discoverer. In addition, the
consultant should be knowledgeable in Oracle databases, Oracle Reports
and Oracle Forms.
• Working knowledge and experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle
Financials General Ledger and Oracle Discoverer;
• Working knowledge and experience with Informatica Power Centre tools
(Designer, Workflow Manager and Workflow Monitor);
• Experience with UNIX operating system (Solaris, AIX);
• Solid experience in development of N-tier applications, middleware
and gateways;
• Knowledge of, and experienced with the following computing
environments: TCP/IP, WAN/LAN environment, Oracle database, Web
Services;
• Experience with Object Oriented Analysis & Design (UML – Use Case/
Class Sequence/Collaboration/State);
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication (verbal and
written), and interpersonal skills;
• A team player with the ability to coordinate multiple projects with
competing priorities and strict deadlines. Proven ability to complete
assignment of high magnitude and complexity.

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

• Support the client’s Bank Reconciliation Project team by providing
system development/coding services, advice and other artifacts as
required. The required code and artifacts must be developed using the
client’s standards and client’s Enterprise Architecture Process and
Methods as guidelines;
• Development of detailed system design, structured program design,
technical design and any other supporting documentation conforming to
client’s standards. Work with a Business/Systems Analyst and architect
to prepare detailed Technical Specifications and Design documents as
required;
• Development and implementation of fully tested, documented and
operational Oracle PL/SQL program to access and process bank deposits
information and transmit them to client’s integrated financial
information system via the system’s single interface in accordance
with functional and technical specifications;
• Manipulate client’s database tables as required to efficiently store/
update/retrieve all relevant data for the bank reconciliation project;
• Developed and fully documented operational procedures for system and
production system support staff. Provide scripts that allow
appropriate staff to effectively administer the system;
• Problem resolution support to databases staff, system and user
acceptance test teams, and other members of the project team;
• Resolve technical and system problems/issues with business clients
and other teams in order to ensure the project activities are
implemented;
• Create/define message layouts to communicate system and application
errors to production support personnel;
• Conduct and/or participate in Walkthroughs and meetings as required
for each project phase/milestone;
• Provide support during the designs, testing and implementation of
the project;
• Report progress of assignment on a regular basis to Project
Management, raise any issue and concerns and propose mitigation
strategies;
• Knowledge transfer to client’s staff at all stages of the
assignment.
