altisProfessional is hiring for a Data Governance Consultant for a 5 month
contract with one of the BIG 4 consulting clients. The successful candidate
will have to be able to work in TORONTO and NEW JERSEY, travel will depend
on client needs. You must have a strong understanding on master data, meta
data, and reference data management.<br>

Role and Responsibilities
* Proficient in data governance processes
* Responsible for conducting and creating a corporate data dictionary to
be able to cross reference data
* Responsible for improving impace analysis
* Develop scorecards and dashboards to improve data governance program
* Creation of a Data Governance council to improve strategy and achieve
long-term goals
* Knowledge of information security/privacy and information lifecycle
management
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in data dictionary tools, master and metadata management e.g.
SAS, SAP, Collibra, Informatics Glossary and IBM Infosphere Suite
(including Glossary)
* 4+ years of experience in data governance, master data management, data
quality, metadata and processes
* Degree in Information Systems or Business Administration is preferred
* Knowledge in MS Office suite and SQL preferred
* Ability to use data to improve business decisions
* Ability to work in TORONTO and NEW JERSEY
